The Brides Les Bains Jazz Festival
4 – 7 July
Head to the Parc Thermal in Brides Les Baines, just a short drive from Meribel to listen to jazz music from local and international artists. This year welcomes Sarah Lenka Quintet, Stanley Clarke Band and Bill Deraime.

The Fête à Fanfoué in Les Allues
This traditional village fete in Les Allues, just a 10-minute drive from Meribel, is the place to discover Savoyard traditions. With stalls, processions and traditional cuisine, you’ll feel fully immersed in the local heritage.

Choose from one of four routes that weave through the Vanoise National Park and take in the beautiful alpine scenery as you run. There’s a 54 km race, an express trail for trail running beginners and a route designed especially for children.

Watch the world’s best ski jumpers compete at this prestigious sporting grand prix!
Felt X3 Triathlon
Starting off with a refreshing swim in Bozel lake, the Courchevel triathlon follows with a 17 km cycle up to Courchevel 1850 for a run around the resort.
The Haute Route Road Biking Event
25 – 31 August
This week long cycling event could be one of the hardest road biking events in the world! Climb up challenging alpine passes through Courchevel, Alpe d’Huez, Serre Chevalier and Pra Loup.

The Festival of the Transhumance
This traditional festival takes place 50 days after Easter on Pentecostal Monday. Villages across France mark the day sheep are herded to their summer pastures.

Bastille Day in the French Alps
